It’s been a while since we had a meeting at Porsche Centre Newcastle so it was great to see so many of our members turn out on a cold November evening.
Just because it’s winter and there may be salt on the roads doesn’t mean we can’t get out and have some fun, we just decided to leave the Porsches at home (except for a few Cayennes) and explore a Christmas Market.

This year we had seven R3 cars joining Lancashire & Cumbria for their now annual Porkers in the Trough run.
Region 18 invited us over to join them for their July monthly meeting.
A large group of us met at Scotch Corner Services to head south down the A1 to Lotherton Hall for the Yorkshire Region Annual Show.
There was a huge variation of vehicles on display from vintage and military vehicles to a GT3 RS.
We were invited by the organisers to attend this, their first event.
We were invited to be part of the car show at this year’s airshow at Teesside Airport.
Fastlane has always had a good turnout of cars, from classics to modern sports cars.
This year we held a European Weekend of the Year to Monaco for the Historic Grand Prix.
This was the first time we’d attended this show and it was a resounding success.
A soggy start to our May Day Away Day didn’t dampen R3 spirits.
This was a Region 7 event but our neighbours there always make us very welcome.
Once again we were invited to join Region 18 on a visit to David Hayton’s Prestige Cars in Carlisle.
Our annual season opener started on a miserable Sunday morning at Toys R Us, with a lot more cars than we expected.
We were invited to Heritage Classics in Middlesbrough to see the restoration work being carried out in their workshops.
A handful of us turned out to welcome the Caledonian Classic & Historic Motorsport Club at Croft.
Once again we decided to hold our annual “Christmas” night out in January so that more of us could fit it into our busy diaries.
December’s Club night was a very festive one.
Some of our members were lucky enough to receive an invitation from Porsche Centre Newcastle for the unveiling of the new 991, with some beautiful cars on display.
What was once a Morgan garage has now been transformed into The Pip Stop; a wine and beer retailer.
While many of us take our cars off the roads during the winter months, there are still some who drive their cars whatever the weather.
This was a conference for Regional Organisers and Register Secretaries but it presented an opportunity to snap some photos at Cornbury House.
