Charity Drive in Support of Lymphoma Action 29^th September 2019

We were keen to join the planned drive out and lunch at Lowther Castle near Penrith to support Laura Heney’s chosen charity, Lymphoma Action. Laura is the daughter of friends and fellow Club members Jeremy and Melanie Heney and has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Two R3 groups defied the torrential rain to drive over the Pennines to join other Porsche owners from all over the North. Our first group of fourteen cars set off from the A68 café and were followed later by ten Boxsters after the Northern Boxster Breakfast.
£684.50 was raised on the day with an additional £170 donated via Laura’s funding page. You can follow Laura’s journey on her blog.
