A track day with a difference

Remote Control Grande Prix 18^th February 2018

It’s often difficult to find events to keep members interested during the winter months when not many members like taking their cars out on the gritted roads of our region. Following the success of last year’s event at Grande Tyres we decided to run  another race morning. The day turned out to be a family event with several of our members bringing their youngsters along to join in the fun. Judging by the fun that was had, many of our members found it to be a great way of de-stressing and allowing them a short break from adulthood. Well done to all those who took part and thanks to the marshals, the spectators and those who stayed back to wash the coffee cups.

Simon Poole held onto his crown as R3 R/C Champion in a very hard fought final round, second went to David Chapman and in third place Chris Mettham.
