Here in Region 3 we usually host our “Christmas” night out in January, as our social calendars aren’t quite so fully booked then. This year the venue of choice was Redworth Hall near Newton Aycliffe. The venue didn’t disappoint. The room, the food, the service were all excellent, but best of all was the company. The large gathering of members was a perfect opportunity to say some thanks, and to hand out some awards:

• Spirit of R3 – Dave & Amy Carnaffin
• For the contribution of technical advice to members – David Chapman
• For entering everything, but never quite winning – Kenny Robinson
• For culinary contributions & keeping us well fed - Dave Urwin

And then we danced the night away.
