Porsche Club Sim Racing
The Porsche Club Motorsport sim racing championship offers an alternative motorsports challenge. Sim racing can be a cheaper route into motorsport, with modern simulations so advanced that getting behind the wheel on a computer can feel strikingly close to the real thing.
The club championship takes place on
iRacing, the global standard for motor racing eSports. With race tracks that are laser scanned down to minute detail, the online racer can feel surface texture changes like tarmac, concrete and kerbs. Real race drivers act as development consultants, giving cars handling characteristics just like their real-life counterparts. iRacing also has two rating systems, one based on race craft and another based on racing safely. As in our real life championships, we encourage respectful racing!
Racing can be tight and exciting, with the digital version of the Porsche 911 Cup Car being just as challenging, and rewarding, to drive as its real life counterpart. To discuss details with your fellow racers, join
our digital paddock on Discord.
The Championship now has its own free, digital magazine full of the latest photos, news, features and results:
Sim Racing - Issue One
Sim Racing - Issue Two
Sim Racing - Issue Three
