A trip to the Birmingham NEC for this year’s Classic Show

The Classic Motor Show 10^th -11^th November 2018

It’s always great to bump into fellow R3 members at the NEC, showing once again that we’re always happy to travel. Set over six halls there was plenty to keep us busy over the weekend with thousands of iconic classic and vintage cars plus motorbikes to browse. Who couldn’t be drawn to the 20 special edition Porsches? Fully restored and finished in “Liquid Silver” paint, which has previously only been used on the 918, none of them were left without a buyer by the end of the weekend. When our legs became weary, Porsche Club hospitality was on hand with free cuppas and a seat amongst other enthusiasts.

As well as R3 members, we often bump into other familiar faces too, this time it was Tim Shaw of Car SOS fame who was asked if we could have a photo. Another good sport!
