While many of us take our cars off the roads during the winter months, there are still some who drive their cars whatever the weather.
While many of us take our cars off the roads during the winter months, there are still some who drive their cars whatever the weather. This drive was one such day. The roads were quiet but very wet, to say we drove through a few puddles would be an understatement. One new member learnt the hard way not to drive through deep puddles with the driver’s window open after a fool coming the other way thought it unnecessary to slow down for standing water. Result; a 996 turbo with very wet seats, carpet & driver. Despite the weather we had a great run, up the coast, across the Northumberland Hills into Scotland, and back via Jedburgh & Otterburn. Of course we had plenty of obligatory stops for coffee & cake too.
