We joined the MG Northumbria Club at their annual classic car show at Bywell

The Great Classic Car Show July 1^st July 2018

Our members enjoyed this show so much at its previous home in Corbridge last year that we jumped at the chance to attend again in the new location at Bywell Parks, near Stocksfield. We had a great spot; plenty of shade on a scorching day with plenty of space, and live music close enough to enjoy. This show epitomised everything we enjoy about static car displays; a chance to socialise in a relaxed environment with other members, enjoying picnics in the sun, talking about our cars, each one the owners pride and joy. We had a great selection of ages and models, with a larger than usual turnout of transaxle models. The rest of the showfield contained a huge array of varied models, from vintage to classic, rare to extremely unusual. Our Club stand was busy all day with visitors asking about our cars, telling us about their cars; the ones they wish they still had or problems they were currently having, which our members were happy to help out with advice. We had lots of enquiries about Porsche Club GB membership so no doubt there will be even more new faces at our next Club night.
