Yorkshire Porsche Festival 5^th August 2018

This summer’s heatwave was in full force when we joined over 800 Porsches at Yorkshire Region’s annual Yorkshire Porsche Festival at Lotherton Hall. For years now our members have gathered at Washington Services and Scotch Corner Services before driving south to Lotherton. This year our numbers excelled anything we have ever had before, with over fifty Porsches all heading for the same destination. Judging by the smiles and thumbs up from other motorists they enjoyed the spectacle.
Steve Richardson was our only R3 entrant in the concours at Lotherton, but sadly didn’t place; he was up against some tough competition, there were some beautifully prepared examples of the marque. Hats off to all the concours entrants that day, the heat was relentless, though enjoyable for those who had taken a picnic.
