Another R3 impromptu run
Bank Holiday Drive 27th May 2018
With the weather looking glorious for the Bank Holiday Monday a last minute drive was organised, starting with breakfast at Lanchester Garden Centre again. Only five cars turned up; we suspect firstly it was a last minute call and secondly many chose to avoid the Bank Holiday traffic, but as it happened the roads were very quiet. We headed again over the moors, this time turning east in Stanhope, to upper Weardale, stopping for a cold drink and to enjoy some live music in Allendale Market Place, then on to Slaley and home.
