Sports Cars in the Park at Newby Hall - 7th May 2017
We had a large group of cars from Region 3 head down to Sports Cars in the Park at Newby Hall this year. Two groups met at the Diner 168 to arrive in convoy. Luckily the queues moved more quickly into the venue this year, so no overheating issues from any of the entrants. We were never going to be lucky enough to have the weather we had at this event last year, but the colder weather didn’t spoil a great day. We enjoyed a wander around some exotic marques, and some classics and some modified, we chatted to visitors about our own cars. These static shows are always a great chance to socialise. We even had a visit on the Club stand from two of our previous Regional Organisers, Graham & Moira Ford, and Ashley & Dawn Wayman, the first time we’ve all been together for a very long time.
