Considering a new one costs almost as much as the whole car.

ORIGINAL: ras62 I am currently looking, if you have a C2 manual and are thinking of selling pls mail me. Thanks
Unless you're dead set on a C2, don't ignore C4s as there are some great bargains about. I was pointed to one advertised yesterday that's had a full engine rebuild and looked cracking value at under £12,000. Good luck with your search [:)]

There are more C4's for sale thats a fact. TBH a nice C4 would probably be just as good as I dont intend to do track days. Any leads gratefully received:)

As an everyday car used all year a C4 makes a superb practical sportscar buy,we got caught in a snowstorm just before Christmas in ours and she plowed on when modern cars were being abandoned, very underrated variant.

Just checked Autotrader again but the one I was pointed to has disappeared (probably not surprising really). Will shout up if I see anything soon.

Hi, After 4 years of ownership I'm going to move on my 1990 101K Guards Red 964 as I'm not getting the use of it due to travelling with work. I'm in no rush to sell so this is only a note to say it's available for sale as it's not advertised anywhere else as yet. Full OPC and Specialist service history as well as the usual plethora of documentation. Please PM me for more details if you are seriously interested. Bill

Have you considered this one: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3054118.htm It's been for sale for a while and looks a bargain if everything checks out. Was tempted myself but then decided that having one 964 was enough :)

I have purchased the car highlighted by Talat. Had it inspected by George McMillan who is now rectifying a few faults he found in the PPI, and look forward to picking the car up next week. George has been excellent, straight talking and a pleasure to deal with, as was the previous owner![:D]

Sounds great and looks like a bargain. Welcome aboard [:)]

So yet another 964 in Cheshire Steve, they are getting to be almost common[;)] Looking forward to the arrival, it shouldn't need anything other than maybe a remap, I will have to investigate, there are quite a few fine independents local to me.

Unit 11 are the guys to use round here. They've done all my work (that I haven't done myself. Say I sent you [;)] I'll look out for you. Next outing for me round here is Oulton Park trackday on Wednesday 24th August. Pop along and say hello if you're not working [:)]

For anyone looking for a 964, this one could be worth a look: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3090357.htm Not sure from the ad if it's a C2 or C4?
