That one does look nice yes, but I was refering to the a couple of Turbo's for the guy who was in the market for one. I have variable success posting links on IE8, sometimes it works & sometimes it doesn't. I have never, so far, has any problem with Google Chrome, which I use at home.
It's relatively high miles for 964T and has been messed about with a little when you look at the pics - non original wheels, steering wheel has been replaced, brake ducts added (probably dummies), changes to interior trim (e.g. piping on the door pockets), standard seats rather than sports seats and the spoiler looks odd (it's all painted the same as the body colour rather than being black round the tray). I don't claim to be an expert but originality seems to be very important to those buying a 964T hence why it might have a low appeal. p.s. Find a good one and they are bloomin' marvellous. I was lucky enough to have a ride in Sifly's 964 3.3T on a run through Wales......they don't 'arf shift! [

] My plan now is to find a 964 coupe, either a Carrera 2 (or 4) as a good working car. ie. i will sell the Boxster as well and just drive a 964. The max I can stretch to is £15,000 cash, plus I have the Boxster, which I would be willing to p/ex as well if the right car could be found through one of the reputable Porsche specialists. If anyone knows of a 964 that might be suitable, or hears of anything coming up for sale, please let me know.

I`ve only just started looking at getting a 964 or 993 so have a lot to learn. This ones looks nice but a couple of things confused me, 1) Could you really get a full engine rebuilt for £3,600 or would just just be for what people call top end rebuild. 2) why would the car need an engine rebuild at 70k miles when its had regular use every year. Most of the ones I see advertised have had recent rebuilds but thats seems down to the fact that these cars are 20 years old and or maybe haven`t had a lot of regular use. Anyway any advise appreciated.
That rebuild was done 11 years ago according to the advert. Therefore, yes it's possible the price was for a full rebuild because at the age it was then, it is unlikely that lots of other stuff that contributes to a full rebuild these days, would have been needed. However, it seems strange that it had a rebuild when it was only 10 years old with 61,000 miles on the clock.
