Anyone waiting for a GTS Allocation ?

My current 992 (C2S) is Gentian Blue, which with the PPF is a beautiful and relatively low maintenance colour. It is also very changeable in differing light settings meaning it always looks quite bold not matter the weather.

I have nothing against Gentian but I fancied a change for the new car, hence the provisional spec being based around Night Blue Metallic. My current thoughts are to go with either GT Silver Metallic or Crayon as I find the black GTS accents and badges/identifiers do look a little too stealthy on a dark car (and I feel I can confidently say that based on my 991.1 GTS which is Jet Black Metallic). All that being said, it's not impossible that I would go for another Gentian car - all to be decided at this stage!

My C2S was GT silver metalli: beautiful colour which changed according to the light. Crayon is a bit bland in my opinion. Glad to hear your experience of Gentian Blue is positive.

I’ve had a few black, blue and silver cars in the past. So I’m going a bit bold for my first ever Porsche and going with Guards Red ??

Test drove a GTS4 Coupe for the day. Stunningingly fast. Excellent road manners and suspension (without PDCC but with GTS PASM) superb. Wonderful engine note even without Sports Exhaust turned on. RWS and it felt like it was on rails. Can't wait for mine to arrive.

Great feedback and very good to hear. When does your car arrive?

I've gone for a C2 GTS with Rear-Axle Steering so expect that to handle brilliantly as well. I'm on my PEC at Silverstone next week in a C2 GTS so will provide my feedback afterwards. Looking forward to it.

Hi - first time forum contributor - go gentle!
Placed an order for a GTS in early July was informed in August that i was 'lucky' and had made the October allocation - wow!!
I then got 'the call' re: 'chip issues' and feared the worst. However, the delay was only until November - i was hesitant......
Was informed last week that vehicle had been built and was now awaiting transfer to the port.
Apparently the HGV lorry driver shortage is also playing havoc so i'm guessing that it will be c'3 weeks to get to the UK and complete registration etc. Fingers crossed...
I was informed by the dealer that the delivery time for new orders is now 2023 - ouch!
Does anyone know how many have actually made it into the UK yet?

I think my GTS must be on the same boat as yours as timeline and messaging from My OPC align! Can’t wait!

Good to hear.... I feel exceptionally fortunate, sure you do as well?
I got the call we all look forward to last Friday......I am collecting mine this coming Saturday.
Then have the joy of a 200+ mile drive home - hope the weathers nice!
Very excited - please don't hate me! ha ha...
Will report back with first impressions if anyone's interested?

Congratulations, very exciting times indeed. Wish I was in the same position! :p

My spec is locked down and I’ve been quoted a 31/12 build start so hopefully it’ll arrive late Jan/Feb.

mines arrived in the UK too (in Grimsby apparently), so planning to pick it up on Monday!

What colour are you getting?

Mine was obviously on the same boat as it was delivered to Grimsby also!

Went for GT Silver. I was tempted by Shark Blue but then opted for a more 'classic' option, largely as i saw this guy collect his Turbo S in that colour and it looked incredible!

What colour did you opt for?

I was at PEC Silverstone yesterday and did my full experience in the 992 C2 GTS with PDK. Apparently I was the first person to do the experience in that particular 992 GTS, car only had 150 odd miles on it. I cannot fault the car in anyway, it literally blew me away. I did the following:

- Acceleration and brake tests with and without Launch Control. (Brutal acceleration and brakes, felt a bit queasy after all the hard braking)
- Drove around both handling circuits, pushed on and learnt good skills from the instructor.
- Skid pan and drift control
- Kick plate
- Even got to take it on the road for around 20 mins to experience what suspension was like in the real world.

I'm in love and I can't wait to get mine even more now. To top it off the weather was nice, bright and dry, albeit a bit cold but that's better for the engine and performance :)

You lucky chaps that are getting yours now, I'm struggling to sleep now and mine is months away so can only imagine what you gents are going through lol.

sounds good, I’m going to leave my session until spring summer for better weather and once I’m a bit more familiar with the car to get more out of it. I nearly vomited on that accelerate/brake stage in my 991 so 992 GTS may tip me over the edge.

anyone else planning to ppf their car too?

Think I’m going PPS (spray rather than film) front plus A pillars and front of roof. Ceramic over that and rest of car. Going to have rear diffuser gloss black too. Check out TBC Detailing for PPS and their gloss black on a 992.

I'm quite interested in the PPS (Litchfield who are closer to me do it I believe).
It will be that or PPF for sure, the 911 seems to be a stone magnet!
