2020 R10 Rally is now on sale!

Hi all,

I would just like to say a massive thankyou to all at PCGB HQ, Simon Lenton and his team at Dove House, Steve Emery at ADI, Steve & The Roasting Pig company, Jacquie and all at Holdenby House, The Icarus Falconry team, all the volunteer marshals who did a fantastic job, the photographers, R10 colleagues Mike Calvert, Mark Grimwood, Tristan McCarthy and Manuel Gamiz for going to great lengths behind the scenes and of course to all who purchased this event and participated making it all worthwhile and putting a massive smile on my face seeing it all come together.

I really, really am pleased with you all. You all make it happen.

Now it's time to chill for a day or so and then crack on with the next one.

Hope to see you all on next years R10 Rally...

Gary

Gary

Thanks for organising such a full day. The effort of you, the volunteers from PCGB and the team at Dove House cannot be underestimated. Thanks also to the team at Holdenby House and the hog roast team. In 14 years of living on it's doorstep this was just our 5th visit between us. The walk around the gardens and the falconry display was worth the entry price alone. The route was very good and showed off many of the varied villages and landscapes to be enjoyed in our part of the county. It was also a great pleasure to get out and meet people, new and old, after such a long time. Roll on WOTY and Eastern at Duxford (we will miss Silverstone this year due to a family wedding postponed from last year).

Thanks once again and well done to you all.

Gary,

It was a pleasure for Linda and me to be part of such a great, well organised day, and I echo your thanks to Mike, Simon and the Dove House team, and everyone else involved in setting it up. I only received great compliments from people I spoke to - it’s just a shame the weather wasn’t warmer. Had it been a nicer day everyone would have enjoyed their picnic and not been so eager to leave. Congratulations to the Show and Shine winners - I know who they are, but perhaps you could announce them and perhaps provide photos of their cars. Thanks again, and roll on R10 Rally no.4 in 2022!

Cheers.

Mark

A great day for getting back together - a big thanks to everyone involved in making this event happen.

It was much appreciated by all the smiling faces arriving at our destination and being able to enjoy everything the day included.

Special thanks to Gary, Mike and Mark, the Dove House team and Jacquie of course.

Well done Gary and team, a really pleasurable day out with my 11 year old grandson who successfully managed to navigate us all the way round and what a fantastic turnout.

Top marks to all involved.

Tim

Really well organised event. I visited from R19 region with my Dad in my 981 CGTS. I noticed there were some photos taken along the route. Will these be made available at some point?

Hi superdot,

Dear Tom (Fixedgear)

Currently the rally is postponed due to escalating costs. However we will re-evaluate a little later in the year and hope to plan a rally for 2023.

There are alternative plans in the pipeline for a summer event which will be announced soon.

Best wishes

Sue
