2020 R10 Rally is now on sale!

The latest on the 2020 R10 Rally!

At the moment (12-05-2020) the R10 Rally is still open.

I have been in contact with the end venue event organiser and other relevant supporting entities for the rally and this event will be reviewed at the end of May 2020 to make a final decision on whether it goes ahead or will be postponed until Sunday 27th June 2021.

I have already cleared it with the relevant entities to keep the costs the same if we need to postpone until Sunday 27th June 2021 which means that there is no ticket price increase whether you have already purchased or not so if you have bought an entry into this event it will still be valid for next year should this be postponed. If you haven't but would like to purchase this it will be the same price.

I will post the decision on which way we go very early in June 2020.

Thank you for your understanding in these strange and difficult times. The main thing is to stay safe (and alert) and keep following the government guidelines.

Hope this helps,

Kind regards,

Gary

Hello Gary

Re-scheduling the event to June 2021, if it can be arranged would certainly get my vote. This is a great event and it will be a shame not to be able to enjoy it this year but I think safety and common sense should prevail.

As fun as the driving is, much of the enjoyment is getting together with other members at the beginning and end of the rally. That will not be possible this year as social distancing rules are not likely to be relaxed for several months to come yet.

I'll be there next year.

Chris

Hi Chris,

In all honesty, I agree and wouldn't be surprised if it is postponed until next year but the May decision was set up a few weeks ago, before the PM's latest speach.

As I have said, I will confirm early June.

Thanks for your feedback, it helps to know what the feelings of our members are.

Kind regards

Thanks Gary. Will totally understand if this is pushed back to next year...I cant say I wont be a bit disappointed though

You and me both and at least 48 others that have booked onto this before the virus arrived.

2020 R10 Rally! 01-06-2020. After reviewing the possibility of this event going ahead it has, regrettably, been decided to postponed until Sunday 27th June 2021. All relevant supporting entities for the rally have kindly agreed to lock the prices which means your purchases can be rolled over to the new date and anyone who has not purchased can do at the same price of ÂŁ35. Thank you for your understanding in these strange and difficult times. The main thing is to stay safe (and alert) and keep following the government guidelines. Kind regards, Gary

Its a pity, but weird times we live in.

Many thanks for your effort and all the people who help you to make the rally happen. We'll be there next year!

cheers

A shame but hardly surprising. The new date is already in my diary. Something to look forward to for next year. Will tickets purchased for this year's event automatically be re-validated for the 2021 rally?

Regards

Chris

Hi Chris, yes they are, it is still R10's 3rd Rally so purchased entries will be carried forward.

Glad the new date is already in your diary.

Kind regards,

Gary

Is there a reserve list for this event? New to the club and just managed to get the weekend free and it's sold out.

Hi Gary,

I'm not convinced it is sold out yet. I have e-mailed HQ to get confirmation. I have a feeling they may have switched it off at 100 when it is for 130 cars. I will update this as soon as I know. Watch this space.

Gary

3 were held in baskets so have been put back in so if you go into the events and are quick enough you may be in luck.
