Hi

I have a question, what time do we meet at DHM on the 27th? Sorry if the answer was posted elsewhere but I couldn't see it.

We are looking forward to our first ever PCGB event and are heading back from Cornwall a day early to so we can make it and to try and get some of the dead bugs off the front of the car. Good impressions and all that.

Looking forward to meeting you on the 27th.

Richard

Hi Richard,

Good question.

What will happen is you will get notification from PCGB HQ of what time to arrive at DHMC which will be colour coded to help us manage the 130 cars going through the sign on process. I believe these will be 30 car groups in half hour increments (if thats how you spell it). This should also prevent having to wait for a long period for your release.

Hope this helps answer your question Richard.

Kind regards

Gary, I have received joining instructions today from PCGB which are a little confusing. It says i am in the blue group with an ARRIVAL time 09.00 and please arrive as close to this time as possible. It also says registration will be in open from 07.15 at DHMC.

My question is do I arrive at 09.00 or sometime after 7.15 for registration.

Kind regards

Stephen

Hi Stephen,

Dove house is open at that time for the earlier cars. Your arrival time is 9.00 which is the Blue group.

We need to get 130 cars through so the times are staggered to help us with this.

Hope this helps.

Hi Gary

Thank you for your prompt reply and clarification. We look forward to meeting you and R10.

Kind regards

Hi Gary,

I am in the Red group to arrive at 7.30am. Could you clarify a couple of queries please:

1. Do I need a co-Pilot to navigate as I will be attending on my own?

2. could you indicate the end time for the red group as I have a commitment later in the day.

Many thanks.

Rgds.

Jon

Hi Jon,

Ideally you would have a co pilot but if you haven't got one, then perhaps you can follow someone.

It is an all day event but you can leave when you want to.

Hope this helps

Kind regards

Hi Tim,

Tim who?

If you purchased the event you would have been prompted there and then which food option you required.

If you give me your full name I can check to see if you did order.

Gary.

Hi all,

The 2020 R10 Rally was not cancelled, it was postponed and carried over to 2021 which is this Sunday coming. (27th June 2021).

The food choice is at the point after you click 'book here'.

If you booked it in 2020 then you are on it.

Updates have been on this forum quite regularly but as the covid situation is and has been fluid, it could not be confirmed until this year and was.

When it was initially postponed (May 2020) I reviewed the situation with all major parties involved (Start venue, end venue, caterer etc...) to keep the costs the same to enable us to carry this over to this year.

All those who have booked, whether in 2020 or 2021 will have paid the same price of £35.

I was the first to buy and was offered the food choice in 2020 and if you look now you will see it still has that.

Also, a pre-briefing has gone out with required colour coded timings to all participants as this was sold out and didn't want people to have to wait for ages before they could be released. This is not like it would have been pre covid which is why we are taking the measures we are to keep this as safe as we can.

If you are not sure what your food preferences are or were then e-mail me with your full name and I will do my best to tell you what you ordered.

medlarstorm@yahoo.co.uk

This may not be changed now as the order has gone in but there have been a few cancellations so there are about 3 places up for grabs if you are quick and have not booked but want to.

Just to confirm the food option was there, I have the list of participants and all have food choices booked.

Hope this helps to clarify one or two concerns people have been having.

Just a quick note, if anyone wanted to do this but couldn't get a ticket or couldn't do it but now can, there are a few places that have become available.

If any of you know someone in that situation then please let them know.

Unfortunately I am now unable to attend the R10 Road Rally on Sunday. Ticket going spare if anyone wants it [:)]

I think that you will need to contact the PCGB Events team to register.
