Well, I have collected my new GTS on Tuesday 17th December exactly 2 months after the order was placed.
The full spec is as follows

C2 GTS PDK
GT Silver
Adaptive Sports Seats
Black Leather Interior with Carmine Red GTS Interior Alcantara Package (This is the full GTS interior package)
Full LED headlights inc PDLS +
Park Assist Front & Rear
Air Intake Grilles and Rear Apron Painted GT Silver
PDCC
20 Inch Turbo S Wheels in Black
Carmine Red Instrument Dial
Heated Seats
Cruise Control
Fire Extinguisher
Sport Design Steering Wheel in Leather instead of Alcantara
Luggage Net Passenger Footwell
Light Design Package
Speed Limit Indicator
PDK Selector in Carbon
Mobile Phone Prep
BOSE Surround Sound System

It was a lovely sunny day but due to the position of the car in the showroom I was shooting into the sun which made things a bit tricky but hopefully the results represent the car as it was on collection

Here it is before the "unveiling" by the OPC Dealer Principal and his team

After the unveiling

The GTS Interior option has to be configured with the leather + Alcantara interior which gives more Leather and more Alcantara than the standard car plus you get all the colour keyed stitching, Carbon trim, and colour keyed rev counter, note the wheel rim is Leather as I prefer the feel to Alcantara

This was outside just before we left for our first drive taking in part of the route we drove on the 997/991 Register Christmas Party weekend, it's not quite so clean now

I've not had the car long enough to give it a full evaluation and with only 16 miles on the clock there was no way I was going to open it up until everything has bedded down and the engine run in, however, first impressions are it's absolutely superb, seems a lot quieter inside than my C2 which I think maybe due to the mix of Alcantara and Leather and the engine sound (up to 5000 only so far) is so silky smooth compared to the 3.4 I had before. I wasn't sure about the lettering on the back, ideally I would have liked to see just 911 GTS below PORSCHE but that wasn't an option, anyway there are enough GTS badges on the car to ensure I don't forget what I'm driving and having now seen the result I rather like the Black lettering.
The Speed Limit Indicator is brilliant as it no longer relies on the GPS data and uses the same camera that the LED PDLS+ headlights use to automatically adjust the beam.

So the next task is to run it in ready for the first big trip of 2015 which will probably be the Porsche Factory Tour in the Spring, until then it's the Cotswolds.

Thanks Tom for the kind feedback, not as quick as yours but getting there
The one feature of the car I don't like is the way the 3x radiators at the front are very exposed to damage from ingested road debris. The GT3 has a grille mesh over all the air intakes so it would make sense to do the same for all the 911s.
Once it's run in I will update.

Loving the detail on the seatbelts.. first time I've seen that.
You'd need a larger rear bumper for any more text!!!
Very nice.

Adrian

Good work Sir.

Spec pretty much spot on I'd say, save of course Agate is known to be faster than GT Silver.

And the photos show some nice thoughtful touches which really add to the overall quality of the interior. Interesting that the Speed Limit function works off the PDLS+ camera. I wonder if it will become a retrofit item.

Let's hope Peter has a Spring run planned for you to show it off.

I'm sure you will be able to get some grilles retrofitted I bought some from design 911 for my 997 Turbo and I know several others have had them fitted in fact Clive bought some mesh and cut and fitted it himself.
My OPC was fine with it and it did not invalidate the warranty.

The car looks great I am sure you will be pleased with it. Once its run in and you have given it some beans let us know your thoughts. If its a step on from the 997 GTS it will be some car. enjoy

Looking at the front, mesh fitment may be a bit more complicated on 991 due to the proximity of the rad. matrix to the PU and the need to support the mesh over a wider aperture than 997. I discussed this briefly with Nick just after he got his Turbo S. It's not an insurmountable problem, but needs the PU to be removed to see a way around it.
Lovely car BTW Adrian, well spec'd and should be a good performer. Congratulations, definitely a better choice than a Macan! [;)

Regards,

Clive.

I like those seat belts, very classy, regarding the radiators I did have a chat with Zunsport and hopefully they will come up with something because as someone pointed out they are very vulnerable to damage I already have a few little dinks in my rads especially the centre one where one day I found of all things a flattened coke can.

Car looks great. I fitted mesh grills from Rennline to my 997 GTS. They already sell grills for the 991 and 991 S so I'm sure they'll will soon have them for the GTS.

Have just seen the photos of the new GTS, the colour looks a lot better than I thought. Very good spec, I love the red stitching on the seats and the unusual seat belts. I am jealous.

Have a great christmas

I'm having some protection grilles made up for mine now by Ninemeister - I'm also having the std intake 'slats' painted. Mine has the front 'sport design' nose as per the GTS, and detail is lost with the car being Jet Black.
To get the idea, I'd stuck some grey gaffer tape on the grills first before deciding on GT silver as per BigCat's
I'll post up the pictures once complete

I picked up a new (8 month old) 991 on Friday. I had a few extras added to it (5mm wheel spacers, sports design wheel, black Porsche logo and a 50th Anniversary rear engine cover. I thought you chaps might like to see it?
