1986 Porsche 930 Turbo Speed Yellow...........Project Begins

Thought I would begin a post here as the car isnt standard so not for the "purist" so to speak. Also am sure there is plenty I could learn from other turbo or modified car owners

After picking the car up a week or so ago it was straight off to Daytona Coachworx in Hertfordshire to get the bodywork sorted (though I told him no rush and he has a few other Porsches to fettle at the moment). First priority is getting a front wing......which is proving a challenge as no one seems to have one....except the OPC of course. Will keep hunting around before deciding whether to get a new pork one. If anyone has one or knows of where I can source one that would be appreciated.

No concrete plans but a hotted up engine would be one option.......or maybe drop in a 993 turbo lump.......hmmm......i can see some research coming on.........

may look at lowering the car slightly and space the wheels out a tad........

Some pics......as it is now and how it look a few weeks before Christmas.

I hope you enjoy. Its a stunning looking car in SY (well imo anyway)

Passed this on the M25 last Saturday - it was on the back of a flatbed and you could spot it a mile off :) Looks lovely in the flesh - good luck with the project.

934 is the ONLY modified route mate ..... otherwise keep as standard and enjoy .... Same chassis as 934!

Porsche did a road version with lightweight carpeted interior with air con ... they also did a 934.5 with a huge rear spoiler .... and allegedly a one off RHD that was competitive and won the Aussie series ..... I did consider this route, body kit just goes straight on ....

Just found this on ph.....and wouldn't you know it ....wrong side haha
