"WOTY - "Jaunt to the Lakes" 2019 - 27th & 28th April

Thanks David and Karen for a brilliant weekend... we’d never have found the lythe fell road with out you!

Stunning roads :)

Terrific weekend everyone - our first trip away with region 3 and we've had a brilliant time.

A massive thank you to David and Karen - your organisation was superb: Enjoyed the museum and lunch, the hotel, table plan and meal, the astonishing Samlesbury Hall and Hawes cheese farm - all excellent choices and locations. Parking was stress free everywhere (except my second reverse parking at the cheese farm that is. . !). Getting advice and suggestions about ways forward with our 986, much appreciated too. Enjoyed the routes and the driving - even the weather came up trumps! Obviously a lot of time and effort had gone into the weekend so again, fabulous and thank you David and Karen.

Most of all it was a delight to meet the characters and members of region 3! We've been entertained all weekend and made to feel welcome. Thanks to everyone for that - seems to be a trait of this group 👍

Paul and Steph.

I concur. A fantastic weekend, filled with food, fun and flourishing friendships.

David & Karen you organised a brilliant trip for us all to enjoy, on some great driving roads.

Deb & I really enjoyed this jaunt immensely (as members not organisers) and we can't thank you enough for taking this daunting task on.

You definitely succeeded in your goal of giving us a very welcome weekend off and creating yet another brilliant and memorable experience for all those who got involved. You definitely won't be getting any complaints from us and even the sun played ball on Sunday to make it just perfect from start to finish.[;)]

Thank you.

Fantastic weekend Guys & Girls!

Great to meet some lovely new people, enjoy a nice meal, a few drinks and of course a spot of driving.

Hope you all had a good afternoon yesterday, we dropped a shoulder and headed to Manchester for work commitments this week, so it worked perfectly (enjoyed a few beers in the afternoon sun!) Very much looking forward to the next jaunt, whenever and wherever that may be. Bee enjoyed her first PCGB event too so we will hopefully see you all at the next club night all being well.

Many thanks David & Karen for organising! Cheers!

Well done Dave & Karen ....... well Karen [:)]

Fantastic weekend.

Willis and I really enjoyed it. Cars, coffee and company. What’s not to like...

Big thank you to David and Karen for their superb organising.

Great weekend there and back across the country.

Many thanks to Dave and Karen for their hard work organising everything, and to everyone else for making it such an enjoyable WOTY.

Hi Kenny, I hate to remind you (as 991 Register Secretary) that the 991.1 S is the superior car (well the engine being a 3.8 and not a 3.6)... though I will try to find you a 3.8 engine cover so you can avoid further disappointment :ROFLMAO:

LOL - Philip (superior 991.1 4S owner)

Thanks so much for the kind comments on the forum and in person. It's really appreciated.

Glad everyone had such a great weekend.

David and Karen.
