Something i have been working on!

Just thought i would point out that my Lovely Maritime blue Turbo S race car/awsomely quick and road legal track day car is now for sale on Pistonheads,i have started racing in the PCGB championship this year and wanted to first see what it was like racing in a 968 CS before placing my Series Winning ([8D])MaritimeBlue Turbo for sale.
It cost considerably more to build(000s!) than i am selling it for and is straight and had everything inspected ,rebuilt,or replaced it uses little oil,has a quiet gearbox, goes like stink on the track Guaranteed!, and will smoke cars considered "quicker" with ease, its fully road legal so you can drive there, dare i say its almost comfortable to drive on the road and has electric windows, mirrors, and remote control alarm/central locking[:D].(working clock and stopwatch)!People always say its too pretty to race[:D]
Was a hard choice to put it up for sale but i am absorbed with the PCGB championship, and it has not turned a wheel since its full end of 2010 season rebuild, inspection and service. New brakes and tyres. Not seen any other Turbo racecars for sale like this recently, its a trackday bargain, finished every race last year.
Any wanna be racers fancy winning Future Classics 2011,or just plain showing off on trackdays?????

See here above!

Wondered if it would be sold!
Its a fantastic car at that price cheaper than a turnkey V8 - good luck with the sale.

It is not very often one of the carefully looked after 'Koeberle' cars comes up for sale. Your cars are always immaculate.

All the best with the sale, I guess that absolutely confirms you have got the bug for racing the 968 in the Club Championship -- good luck with that as well, but not toooooo much !! [:D][:D]

I saw you race this at Snetterton last year, it looked far too pretty and well presented to be a racecar even then.

Just how light and powerful is it compared to a fully trimmed roadcar, it must have fantastic power to weight ratio?

Around a circuit it is significantly faster than a road car turbo,It is a great blend of road/track and keeps up with modern track machinery easily,in Future Classics I was ding donging with Big Horse power Astons ,Camaros,Lotus Esprits, in the Spa race I finished ahead of some Caterhams, and ahead of all the road cars, It is very stripped out no interior luxury, but it is still very road able and I have whipped down to Brands done a track day evening and whipped back same night,no probes.Been to the Gym in it and work quite often.

I'll be sad to see it go, fond memories of paxlaps at Silverstone and the CSCC racing last year . . .

Oh and I missed this post - nice one! well done.

If anyone is near Croft Circuit over Easter the PCGB championship is there, come and say hello,I am in the red 968 number 87
[:D]

The blue meanie is the most focused 944T I have ever driven and I'll not easily forget those passenger laps round Silverstone being held up by the slower GT2.

A road legal 1100 kilo racecar with circa 350bhp and all the brake/suspension mods you'll ever need at under £15k is a bargain at that price, and I'd wager will outperform ANY of Porsches current crop of track 'ready' cars that would cost 3,4 or even 5 times more money to buy.

Lottery ticket just bought here [;)]

Bump
Anyone interested in a great track day car or want to go racing in Future classics and do well??
In the advert I put on 300 bhp to be safe, easily has 315 -320 bhp.
Wish I could use it in PCGB championship [:D]
See above for Pistonheads link to advert.

Sorry to see you have to sell your beauty Mark. I will even ask around down here as our dollar is pretty strong at the moment. As you say it's cheap for what has gone into it and how well it goes.
So is that an accurate weight at 1100kgs? Do you still have things like a/c , heater etc? Are they full carbon doors? Any lexan on the car?

My mistake. For some reason I had it in my head that the new turbo fitted was a Lindsey Super 75 and not a standard Porsche one.

Shows what a fantastic prospect a racing 944T is, because he beat a number of cars that must have been close to 400bhp or more, and he was a Rookie driver [:D]

The Turbo S race car has now been bought by an enthusiastic gentleman racer, will be nice to follow it's future even though I won't be the one driving it,it will be in good safe hands and should do well.Keep your eyes open for it it will be about!
Don't sell cars often it feels kind of strange!
Now down to two turbos[:D]
Thanks for all the interest in the project.
