Silverstone track evening?

E-mail sent to Jonny, as I'm interested to give my S2 an outing now that it's starting to come together (new brakes, coilovers, bushes, etc....) Phil

A few of these between us and surely we're guaranteed some classic footage...

I've got one of those! Great little thing , but you'll never get an hour and a half out of it - 45-50 min maximum on a charge, you can't record and charge it at the same time and the instructions are a real laugh! It takes about 1gig per 10-12 min, but certainly worth a play! I mounted mine on the top of the rear view mirror with stick on velcro. This was taken with it - [link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVI_doIJWAo]Donington Parade Lap[/link] Still hoping to be around for the evening.

Looks a neat little gadget. A few of us have tiny bulletcams linked up to a fullsize camcorder in the glovebox Gratuitous link to footage from MarkK's racecar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ywf7Z2gVI4M&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

The 808 cameras are pretty good for the money - but it is a bit hit or miss whether you actually manage to get them recording anything. Or maybe it's just me... I think you can pick them up for £7-8 on ebay - also check out the [link=http://chucklohr.com/808/]808 website[/link] as there are lots of different types - and the type 3 is the one you want IIRC [link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-37wSMmMXvE]Honda at Silverstone[/link]

I'm hoping to pop along for a chat too. Anyone planning to stay on for a pint/chat at The Green Man afterwards?

I'm coming, picked the car up from RPM yesterday with a fresh MOT, shiny braided fuel lines and a full service. Brings the total spend on the car this year to within a gnat's of the purchase price. [] Will certainly be drowning my sorrows in a pint afterwards, either the Green Man or the one in Silverstone Village we went to when the Green Man was closed?

Beer, afterwards sounds like a plan

Do they do food, anyone know?
