So you paid £1300 altogether for both seats or is the £900 per seat? I have to admit they do look pretty dam good and should look great with your pacha door cards. Its good that you have kept the look period and retrospective of these cars, something I'm trying hard to do with mine, these cars with modern bits on just don't do it for me.
I'm picking up my re-trimmed Recaros from Southbound on Monday, similar to 964/993RS seats, with enlarged perforated cushions.
Original 964RS leather Recaros
Recaro Poles Retrimmed by Southbound
Initially I wanted the Recaro's to save weight (About 35kg), but didnt want the large RECARO logo across the back of the seat. The alternative was the leather option from recaro which has a much more suble affair. Then I found out that Capital Seating could re-trim the seats for the same price as the recaros but with custom porsche embossed badges, their quality though seemed questionable.
In the end I contacted Southbound who were able to advise on what Porsche used in their cars and are experts in recreating the factory look. The RS style seat being exactly what I was looking for, as you said if you going to spend good money on seats + interior you might as well get it right first time.
