Hello Richard
I know that barely a handful of genuine Martini cars are on the 924 database so it is great to see another being restored.

Alan
You also belong to a select part of the 924 Register with a pre 1980 car.

OPC first to check if its available new and gauge its price. If no longer available new then no one will have it.

It is, and thank you

Use google translate to put the site into a sort of english you can just about understand. Just type in the website in the left field, select German to English and click

hi, I'm Andy and I bought my 1st 924 4 weeks ago - she's a 1982 n/a with about 62k miles on the clock. Got a cheeky wee fuel leak to fix and few dings on the bodywork to sort but as a whole she's running pretty well!

I stay in north Glasgow

Hello Andy

Welcome to the forum.
The best 924 is the one with a owner who looks after it [:)]
Any advice you should need give us a call here.

Hello all,

I recognise a few users here!

I'm Felix and this is my 924, I got it just before I turned 21 as my first car and it sealed my fate as a hard-up student! I've had it over a year now though and it has never been better!

Cheers

Agreed, great photo Felix.
I like the way the car really stands out in contrast to the background.
If you can do another like this in portrait then we could have a cover for an issue of Porsche Post!

Thanks guys, I'd just cleaned the car and still had my camera gear in the boot. I spent about 2 minutes parking on a quiet street at the top of town to take some quick snaps before I got in the way of traffic!

Paul, I'd be very interested in contributing to Porsche Post, I'll PM you later!

I have owned many Beetle's, Mk2 Golfs and other examples of old German metal in the past but am looking forwards to getting to grips with my first Porsche.
