They are common as muck actually. elliot or Max Schenker will sell you one if you want.
 
I got the number from a list at the phone shop about 13 years ago, a very long time before I had any thoughts about having any sort of Porsche, so I guess somebody knew I'd be getting one! I actually liked the idea of "44" and "53" both adding up to 8 to help me remember it!

Sounds like a plan! I reckon the services are about 30-40 mins from Rutland so shall we say about 10-ish? Far end of the car park furthest from the entrance to the food mall thing? hopefully that fits with Andy 'Hairyarse' too? and Robdimond if you want to join on your way up the A1 you're more than welcome. Don't bother looking for me too hard, I'll be in a silvery blue saloon that doesn't really stand out from the crowd but I will be able to spot you a mile off. Any problems en route and my number is 07939 023 755, looking forward to it.

Sounds like a very good plan. Are you two ok with a (very small) detour off the A1 to hook up with me? Don't think there's anywhere on it to meet up close to me. Rob wont be joining in, he'll be in Egypt Cheers Andy

Great, I'll be coming up the A1M so will try and join at the services. My mobile is 07980 695560 although I should be easy to spot. All this is working on the assumption that the old girl will start up when I get her out of storage on saturday...

These services aren't too far off my route. I can likely swing by there too and join the convoy.
 
Hi all, My son and I will be popping along (but can't stay for food) so will swing by the Peterborough services on the way up if we can get the timings correct, otherwise we will see you there. May even clean it this time
 
We will be coming up the A1 too, though from a bit of a distance. If we do make it past Peterborough Services at 10-ish will look to join you there. If not - see you at Rutland Water.

I'm looking doubtful now (glad I didn't confirm a food place), the bodyshop have been ready to spray the car since Wednesday but are still waiting for their supplier to deliver the replacement rear bumper [:mad:]
