Anyone heading North on the A1 to Rutland, I won't be in my Porsche but would still like to follow someone as I love the look of the 944 on the go and very rarely get to see one moving nowadays!
Good point, must remember to pack the air compressor so I can increase my tyre pressures to accommodate the arctic conditions.ORIGINAL: pauljmcnulty the frozen North
To get to Rutland I go along the main road that you are just off but can't remember exactly where you are. If you PM me your address I'll swing by on the way - as you say, about 10ish if you want to get there by 10.30. But only if your car's not too clean - I still don't know where you managed to get a new one from [ORIGINAL: MarkK Shall we frighten the wildlife then Graham!?? What time you coming by!??? [] Do you remember where I live?
I will be...but only from Peterborough so it would be a relatively short run! Oh, and I drive like a grandad, so don't expect any 90mph blasts[ORIGINAL: Joss Walker Anyone heading North on the A1 to Rutland, I won't be in my Porsche but would still like to follow someone as I love the look of the 944 on the go and very rarely get to see one moving nowadays!

I don't want to jinx it, but I really hope so. She was in primer on Tuesday and due in the spray booth yesterday, so all being well it's a few more days for refitting everything and then a final machine polish [ORIGINAL: MarkK Calling Mr Smith any news on your S2?(will you have it back in time?)

Sounds like a plan! I reckon the services are about 30-40 mins from Rutland so shall we say about 10-ish? Far end of the car park furthest from the entrance to the food mall thing? hopefully that fits with Andy 'Hairyarse' too? and Robdimond if you want to join on your way up the A1 you're more than welcome. Don't bother looking for me too hard, I'll be in a silvery blue saloon that doesn't really stand out from the crowd but I will be able to spot you a mile off. Any problems en route and my number is 07939 023 755, looking forward to it.ORIGINAL: simdel1 meet you at Peterborough services and convoy the rest of the way.
