"Don't waste any more time trying to download them when you could be out driving it!"

I agree entirely! [;)]

Thanks, Fudgie! I have spent too much b***** time trying to download images! :ROFLMAO:

Don't understand why it should be so hard to share pics on here, compared to other sites.

I have managed to update my avatar though! [;)]

If I can download directly from my computer for my avatar, why not for adding photos to a post...?

Answers on a postcard... [&:]

Because photo heavy posts clog up the server, apparently. They need to be uploaded to a third party server, like Flickr. You then use the picture icon with the plus sign (just above the text box) and enter the image location. That is easiest done by right clicking on the photo (once uploaded) and selecting "copy image location" and then pasting into the box that appears when you click on the picture icon. Bit of a faff, I know, but quite straight forward once you have done it a couple of times.

Seems a great shame that photos can't be more simply shared, as they can on Rennlist and the Macan Forum, without a diversion via a third party website... [8|]

Lovely car Simon

Flickr works the same as Photobucket. The benefit of using a 3rd party site is that they store the image and the storage capacity it needs and the Forum doesn't hold the image so reduces the capacity of storage required to run the forum (or so I was told) [:)]
