If we hadn't already put it together when this one came up we may well have joined in. Still going to be a brilliant trip. Two weeks today should have had my first look at the ring [
Just looked up the festival, am gutted that we are missing that one. I can't remember if we had an option for that week with the hotels. Hopefully there will be another opportunity.

Top tip for driving in Europe
Make an arrow (I use a piece of insulating tape) and stick it to the windscreen - somewhere quite visible, pointing to the right. Then when you jump in the car after a meal or a nights kip you think - Whats that? then remember its a reminder to drive on the right. Also very useful in car parks etc. as a double check when you meet someone head on as a reminder oif which way to go. I dont need it in a LHD drive car but find it very usefull when you are in your own car on the 'wrong' side.

I never used to bother, left a hotel at 5.00 am in France drove for several hundred meters before noticing the give way line was on the other side of the road - fortunately no other cars about, My colleague sat beside me didn't notice until I mentioned it.

Take lots of photos please guys (especially any interesting 924's at Dinslaken!!). Really p1ssed still I'm not coming. However I have two busy weeks ahead getting my engine back in which I collected last Friday. Catch up sometime soon!
