I'll let you know about the 25th it's my little girls birthday on the 31st so have to make sure not doing her party that weekend. I can't do this weekend working.
i accept the above post totally john and i can assure you that when i meet with greg, i intend to offer him over half the money that he payed out! as i were one of those who was unable to attend,,, unfortunatly i do a job where the buck stops with me and my cousin alsdo lost a days work as he was attending as well! in fact i feel so strongly that i will e mail greg to offer over half of the cost of what he kindly provided as i was the one who started the garage day intially so i feel a responsbility and to avoid no ill feeling in future,, i am truly sorry i was unable to attend ,,,regards jason pORIGINAL: 924nutter Greg you just need to remove the shroud around the column switches and using an 8mm oe (open ended) spanner locate and loosen the switch clamping bolt, then wiggle the switchdown the column a little bit then clamp it up and try again. Dont put the shrouds back until you are happy with the position. funnily enough, when I changed the switches on my cab I never had that issue. I have uploaded a picture of my "aquarium" Plenty of space for Oli to practise floating. Yes all those who found the most feeble of excuses to bug out are miserable gits, and before you all take offence remeber how insulted we were; me I jet washed and transported my not particularly light barbecue hearth, and had to use my AX gti the only thing it would fit in. Greg is too much of a gentleman to say this but expecting committment from all the all talk no doers had spent a lot of money on food, that in istself can be frozen but the effort to go and but £50 of food for no-one to turn up is quite an insult and particularly bad manners. You all missed a fantastic day Greg is the ultimate host and true gentleman that he is, is still willing to try to arrange another garage day.![]()
It's in mine too .... Oli.ORIGINAL: Hairyarse In any case, 25th is penciled on the calendar now
Mods, we need the thread title changing again please! Come on, chop chop, what are you waiting for?! [ORIGINAL: Greg James "Jason's garage day at Greg's on the 25th of August"
http://www.thetrainline.com/ Oli.ORIGINAL: chrisjcoe Ah, 25th August! I had considered the long drive to Oxford and back, but the girlfriend has kindly arranged for me to drive her to Edinburgh and back at the end of August so I'll be on the road in my Volvo on that day. It's a shame, I might need some help on my window, central locking and sunroof!

You apologies are accepted boy. Although I do find the current glass somewhat lacking in G&T so run along and fill it up, there's a good chap! [ORIGINAL: zcacogp Edited by Diver944 All done for you sir. I sit here just waiting for requests and most humbly apologise for the delay [] - Paul
Chas just get one of them mobile and bring it to the garage day. Rumour has it there was a tatty AXgti last timeORIGINAL: ChasR 25th sounds good. Fingers are crossed my dailies are not as horrific as they have been of late.
That's generous, but it kind of defeats the point doesn't it? I mean, unless the guy in question needs his train fixing then he needs to bring his car along. (Unless you are talking about picking up ChrisJCoe's girlfriend, who bought a ticket to Oxford instead of Edinburgh by mistake. I guess that would make sense.) Oli.ORIGINAL: Greg James I can pick up from train station.
