i am very sorry and deeply embarrased but i willl need to cancel sundays garage day.. .when i arrived home from work this morning i was met by one of the managment that run our small apartment complex with a list of dos and donts.. this just adds to the reasons why we are selling and moving out to kent within the next 18months,, again i am very sorry and i feel angry that petty bureaucrats have ruined a potentially good day but thank god i found out this morning and not on sat,,,,,jason p

Jason's garage day at Greg's on the 25th of August

Bummer! That's miserable of them. I'm very happy to host it here instead. Would people be happy to trip to E3 instead? I'm about 20 minutes away from Jason, so that's 20 minutes less travel or possibly 20 minutes more travel (depending upon which way you are coming from! [
]) I'll check with the management here but I am sure a BBQ would be fine - and I'm even happy to let John oversee it! So, to those who are planning to come, would you be happy to come to Bow in Central London instead, or would that be a step too far and you'd rather cry off? Oli. ETA: Don't be put off by the "Central London" bit; it's 20 minutes from the M25/M11 junction, a similar distance from the M25/A2 junction and about 5 minutes north of the Blackwall Tunnel.

We country yokels don't do London [
], on a serious note Im sorry to hear this as i'm sure this would have been a very nice day for 944 folk. Im at a 'garage day' myself Friday. Your story is pretty much why I spent 3 years in rented just to find a house with no immediate neighbours whatsoever. I cant do jack **** to my house as its listed but I can tinker with what I like ( or barbie it for that matter). I can also run around the garden naked if I like but you don't want to know about that lol Best of luck Mas

There is also quite a bit of parking on my drive. I'm sure we could get 8-10 on with a bit of juggling

Jason sorry to hear that the shit betiders and professional spoilsports have intervened. For me it is a pity as I have been practising every evening since early May. Going to Greg's in Oxford just means I turn left off the A404 instead of right. I need an address. I have rediscovered my little touring barbecue which willl almost go into a laptop bag. Anyway let me know if the Garage/BBq is going to fly

I will be out all day tomorrow so here's my understanding. Arrive 12:00 onwards at Greg's, with a single "G" so don't all turn up at the local pastie shop! l.o.l. I will flip burgers, generally take the jimmy riddle and be like a herb and offer sage advice. You will bring you own swags, burgers, etc. we will have a whip round for 5kg of charcoal non of that gas or briquette sh1t

BUMP - we need to know how many are coming so we can cater accordingly. So chaps, who's throwing their hat in the ring? Here's mine:
John (924nutter) will be there, as will Greg (natch!) Chas will too, and I'm taking that as a 'Yes' from you Mas >HardStareInMas'sDirection<. Peter (ExSkyline) - what say you? Andy Watson - are you still in? Edd said he was keen, although he's in furrin' climes at the mo so I'll call him tomorrow evening letting him know of the change of plan. Oli. ETA: I think we may need a moderator as well, to ensure our discussion and behaviour remain ... moderate. Smiffy/McNulters/Jon Trasler (are you a mod? I think you are) - are you coming?
