GTS ordered

JaseGTS said:
All signed off today, build completion should be 29th September so hoping for mid to late October delivery, fingers crossed.

Great news and you'll get a bit of nice weather too to fully enjoy it!

Looking at your order date: April and arrival date: September I'm probably looking at January, what a drab month to receive it! Think I might ask to be delayed to 1st March or thereafter.

Congrats both,

Ordered mine end of April, build confirmed early nov, delivery expected 1st week Dec. Having driven the PDK at Silverstone EC yesterday I cant wait for it to arrive.

If you can hold out and wait an extra 3 months Ryan, you're certainly a far more patient man than me!

Best wishes.

Ken

Greetings!

Been following this forum for a few weeks and just joined. Ordered a GTS 4.0 PDK two weeks ago with delivery expected in Q2 2022.

Last car was a 2008 Aston Vantage V8 owned for over two years, which was lovely but want something a little more sporty that I can use as a daily and doesn't have so much of a drink problem :ROFLMAO:

Had a go in a GTS 4.0 demonstrator and loved it. Was pleasantly surprised the electric steering had better feedback/weighting than a 2013 model I drove years ago.

- Agate Grey

- Expresso natural leather interior with Cognac seat centres

- Seat ventilation

- Two-zone automatic climate control

- Crests on headrests

- Brushed aluminium interior package in black

This will be my third Porsche after a 2005 Cayman S and a 2006 Carrera C4S.

Waiting impatiently....

Mines due to launch March 1st

shark blue ( looks terrific) with GTS crayon package and lots of alcantara

led lights( I’m getting older)

two zone climate heated wheel and all the usual “ optional “ extras you’d never resell it without

satin black wheels PDK

can’t wait for porsche number 12( black 991S went off to cridfords yesterday

So, once the order is locked in can I track production online? Also does anyone know when I can expect to have confirmation of a silverstone slot? Not in a rush to book this but I did place my order in March and nothing yet.

Thanks

Jase,

I'm surprised you haven't heard anything for the OPC for an order placed in March. Also surprised you have not been given a build slot or confirmed your order and this does not bode well for me as I put my order in about a month ago expecting to have the car in March next year, maybe not then!

You should really be getting a monthly update from the OPC even if the update is 'nothing to update'.

Unfortunately you won’t be able to track your order unless its a 911 however, your salesman will send you order updates if you ask him to.

You should have had an email from Silverstone by now so it would be worth having that conversation with your dealer.

Dan.

I put an order in last month , nothing confirmed yet. The OPC told me that another customer that put in an order in July had been given a build slot for November. I am working on the basis that I will hopefully get a car around April/May.

I rang yesterday, the car should leave the factory on October 12th all being well. Apparently Silevrstone are trying to catch up which is why I am yet to hear. I did jump the queue a little as a few people dropped pout. Guessing it will take anywhere between 1-3 weeks to be ready once it has left the factory?

Could anyone who has the headlight washers on their GTS 4.0 confirm they are satin black (if the body colour painted option is not ticked)?

Just that it appears to look chrome on the attached screenshot. Think I read somewhere that it is satin black for the GTS 4.0.

TIA.

-10mm for me, my drive is a little steep and my 911 catches slightly so not taking any chances.

Another question for the collective, spoke to my OPC today and they sent me a table showing that my car should be leaving the factory on the 12th Oct but it also says it is in pre-production. Does anyone know how long production actually takes?? Or can I expect this to drag on a bit longer?

Thanks
