Cayman Register Members on this Forum?

I am almost certain that I have sent off that registration doc to the Car Club and also email the Forum Admin about having my status moved on from Guest. Have not heard anything back in either instance. [:(]

Kevan & Jeff, Probably should add me to your list, I avidly read the forum and occasionally contribute. Managed to get "cayman" as my tag as I was about first with Alan Armstrong back in March 2006 when acquired my Gen 1. Upgraded to Gen 2 in March 2009 and cannot make up my mind about the new one. Looks great but given I am not a heavy user of the Cayman the cost per mile incl depreciation is quite a number. Region 25 kent.

Cuchillo, you won't hear back from Club Office about the register unless they respond directly on receipt of the emailed form. However, you are listed on the register. Jeff, rather than adding this to the FAQ's I'll pin it to the top of the list since I think it will go on for a long time.

Thanks Kevan - a more useful location for the post so that I can update when appropriate. Jon, Martin and Raja - you're now on the list. Jeff

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm on the list or not? I have a 2007 Cayman S and have just moved to Region 29 from R20. Dominique

Hi Jeff I am a member in R5. Frequently attend regional meetings but not a frequent forum visitor. I suspect there are many similar members. I will be at the R8 meeting at Chatsworth and looking forward to seeing other Cayman register members Regards

Thanks Mike, I've added you to the list. Unfortunately, there aren't that many people posting on our part of the forum, so any input is greatfully received..! Hope to meet up with you in the future. Jeff

Hi m8, I am R5 also, but don't got to the monthly meets that's offten. I am more on the forum. I am going to the R8 meet in my Cayman R. Where are you based?

Just wanting to restate a request that everyone using the forum ought to state in their profile details and so their Avatar which region or county district they are located in, this is so that you can see roughly where you are relative to each other and so can offer help to others in your areas it even helps for arranging local social events such as meeting up or joining together for drives etc.

Kevan In response to your post, I am an occasional Cayman forum visitor. Located in deepest Hampshire and allocated to R29 Surrey Region but not managed to get to any meetings yet ! Managed a few track days last summer and hoping to do a few more this year.

Hi Andy, I take it that you know you're not tied to a region as far as meetings go, I have friends who attend two regions one close to home and the one that I attend so if you have another which is closer or just fits your schedule better then it's fine to attend there. Hopefully you'll be able to socialise with other Caymanites in the south or elsewhere, I've sometimes considered visiting other regions when on holiday for instance, it's just never happened that they had meetings when I was in their area.[:)]

Hi, I am in the R20 (London) region, try to attend as many of the R20 meets as time permits. Would be nice to attend a Cayman meet and not be the only Cayman amongst the 911's on a day out... Cheers, Kumi...

Well Kumi your luck is in, we have a meeting at Chatsworth in Derbyshire on 30th June, we have our own parking alongside the Region 8 annual Chatsworth meeting to which visitors are welcome. There will be a concours and depending on numbers we may even be able to rustle up a prize for the Cayman Register member travelling the furthest distance to attend. It is an all day event and if anyone emails me then I can send a form for them to send in and prebook through R8.

Thanks for the tip. Just had a look at the R17 forum and their club meet is only 30 miles away and they have some nice stuff planned.

Andy, I have 11 Caymans listed for region 17 and so I'd hope that there should be others attending the regional meets.[:D]

Hi Kevan Thanks for the info. I will try a few R17 meets. Will let you know how I get on. Cheers Andy
