Porsche Boxster Spyder (987)​

The 987-generation Boxster Spyder is proof that removing things can sometimes improve a design. Porsche stripped weight from the standard Boxster, added a distinctive double-hump rear deck, and created one of the prettiest roadsters of the modern era. The manually operated fabric roof looks unconventional, but it gives the car a unique personality. Combined with the compact proportions and clean surfacing, the result is a design that feels more special today than it did when it first appeared.
