991 Owners Cars

At the beginning of the year I replaced my 991.1 GTS with a 991.1 GT3 Clubsport.

I repainted the wheels Satin Aurum and added a Hayward and Scott bypass exhaust so now it's perfect 😄

Very nice indeed, Nigel. Even though I love my 991.2 Carrera T, there is something very desirable about a GT3. Enjoy! :)

Nice pic Nigel, thanks for posting it. Oh I do like the look of those Satin Aurum knock-on`s, very sporting indeed, and well match the rest of your GT3, hope you enjoy the difference experienced in your now "noisy" GT3 compared to that enjoyed in your GTS.... Care to expand on your impression of the differences..?

Hi! First post. Just put deposit down for a 991.1 GT3 today. Off on holiday next week so it will be ready for me to collect as soon as I return to Blighty At the end of the month. First Porsche, bought it because I only have one parking space and I had to find something that would balance being usable and utterly bonkers. Not sure I’ve ever owned anything comparable, previous cars range from the sensible Lotus 340R to an E39 M5 and a DB7 Vantage.

Thought I'd drop a post in here with my (newish to me) 991.2 GTS. Not my first Porsche: I spent the last year with an approved used Panamera 4 e-hybrid, regrettably a lemon, resulting in a certain amount of grumbling to get out of in a financially acceptable fashion.

Still, that hurdle cleared, its replacement is plastering a pretty sizeable grin on my face, although perhaps at the expense of my hearing.

Next steps: perhaps a touch of sound deadening, and maybe repainting the wheels. Decisions decisions...

Congrats! What a beauty!

Speaking from experience, I’d suggest just relishing it for a while, before commencing with any modifications.

Cheers,

A GTS and in my favoured blue hue..NICE. Interesting location for the image of your GTS.

Sage advice. There is no hurry, and the black wheels on this don't annoy me as much as other cars. I can't see any downsides from a bit of sound deadening though (and not being a 10/10ths driver, I won't notice a few kgs here or there).

Thanks :) Taken on a visit to Bicester Heritage, which provides plenty of 'industrial shabby' photo ops.

Hi,

Bit of a long shot...I attended the Collecting Cars coffee morning at Bicester Heritage this morning...in excess of 2,000 cars, majority Porsche!

In the parking area reserved for Porsches in PTS colours, was a Pepermint Green 991.1 GTS. Absolutely love the colour...and the fact it's a 991.1 GTS!

Anyone know if the owner is a member on here? It had a PCGB sticker on the rear side window.

Hoping to persuade the owner that they want to sell it...or at least put me on the waiting list! :p

Cheers.

yeah that's the one - thanks

Can understand he doesn't want to sell, but if you know him please pass on my contact info for when/if he ever decides to!
