Hi, I was at the PCGB track day at Castle Combe last Thursday, and before even getting out on a fast lap had a dash full of errors and warning codes. I got recovered by Porsche assist back to my local dealership. This is their assessment:
Based on these findings, Porsche’s guided diagnostic process recommends replacement of the turbo oil lines, oil tanks, and oil separator as an initial step.
It's under warranty and they are proposing to only change the lines, OAS and oil tanks, put it back together and see if it works. Am I right to be not happy about that? How firm should I be that the turbos need doing as well? Are there any tech bulletins etc that give me some backing?
- P0305 – Misfire, cylinder 5
- P0302 – Misfire, cylinder 2
- P13A3 – Misfiring damaging to catalytic converter, with cylinder deactivation
- P0300 – Random/multiple misfire detected
