Hello all,
First post, and I'm asking about a problem *sigh* what a shame. Still, OPC handling it just fine so I'm relaxed about it.
Anyone had turbo failure on a 991.2 Carrera S? Mine have gone. 9 months and 7,000 miles only. My TVR was more reliable than this (actually, it wasn't). I couldn't tell you if only one unit had failed, but the car shut 'em both down (makes sense to me). At least one has an actuator failure that means entire turbocharger replacement is the only remedy. OPC replacing both turbos. Been driving for the last couple of weeks in a normally aspirated 3L car – it was surprisingly pleasant actually (I swear the exhaust note was better).
Other than that, I'm quite enjoying my first Porsche ownership experience [] Have a few club track days booked this year (Donington, Knockhill, Silverstone and Oulton), which I'm really looking forward to.
Cheers,
--Mark
