Hi fellers,

Any of you want to get together on Sunday 18th November at Snetterton race circuit?
We could meet up and have some breakfast - somewhere, and then cruise to the circuit, there is a charity fun day with the option to pay for passenger laps in various types of cars.

Will be a bit brisk no doubt, but the chance of a get together before the end of the year

What do you think only £5 entry per car?

Possibly, the car is in bits at the moment and need taxing but if its back on the road its not far from me.

I'm always up for a 944 meet[:)], its Classic Car Show that weekend too, although not sure if I'm going this year.

Lots of the organised events really disappoint me , silverstone for example but the classic at nec had so much to look at i really enjoyed it.

Re Snetterton , i like that area for sure so might be in depending on when exactly :)

Lets Do Snetterton Edd, I thought about the NEC but not really something we can do as a group, I am thinking:

Meet for breakfast
Cruise to circuit
Couple of hours on site, maybe do one of the passenger rides
Go for a bit of a blast on the way home

Er forgive the senior moment i meant what were doing on the day exactly. I just read what i typed and still dont believe it [8|]

HI Andy, just replied on TIPEC but I'm in, would be good to have a meet up again before Rutland! The weather may be better too [:D]

Definately a maybe from me, car might be in the garage then and I really don't want that long a round trip in the van! [&o]

Looks like a plan, appears PCGB Norfolk & Suffolk are already involved in this, we could let them know we are coming...

Edd,

Already emailed Brian last night, just got to let them know for sure that we wil be attending as a 944 posse [:D]

I have nothing for my calendar on that date; assuming nothing breaks in the interim (in me or the car) then I am in [:)] I haven't been to Snetterton for a couple of weeks ;)

Shall we start a list?

1. Andy Watson
2. Andy Day (Hairyarse)
3. Glenn (GlennS) [well, someone needed to break the run of "Andy's"]

Glenn,

PM replied to mate, good idea, I will let you do the honours.

Andy is alluding to a suggestion I made that we might want to consider a meal on the way back from Snetterton as part of the trip. A chap I know has recently become the licensee and manager of a pub / restaurant called The Ship Inn at Brandon Creek. It's about 30 miles from Snetterton on the A10 and would be a nice cross country run towards the A1 for points North, South and West (there isn't too much East of Snetterton).

Here's the web site http://www.theshipbrandoncreek.co.uk/

I haven't been there so can't say more than it looks nice in the photos and the menu seems reasonable. If there's interest, I will have words with him about a reservation.
