944 November get together

ORIGINAL: 944Scott

You could always incorporate a visit to St Georges Distillery, thats not far from Snetterton.

I'm half Scottish. I'd be honour-bound to fire bomb the place as an abomination. [;)]

Shall we start a list?

1. Andy Watson
2. Andy Day (Hairyarse)
3. Glenn (GlennS) [well, someone needed to break the run of "Andy's"]
4. Edd

I'm up for eating at the Ship, distillery visit might be trying to fit too much in one day...

Errrr the Scot's nicked it off the Irish anyway and then you drink it by watering it down even more[:D]

We took it, improved it, turned it into an art form and corrected the spelling. [:)] Oh... and no-one I know waters a decent malt.

No worries keeping up then, although you'd do better if it was white - that being the fastest colour for vans.

I just looked it up 7 hours of watching cars go round mmmmmm that's a long day

Andy's suggestion seemed more of an "excuse for a drive" with this as one of the attractions (note the bit in bold)

Meet for breakfast
Cruise to circuit
Couple of hours on site, maybe do one of the passenger rides
Go for a bit of a blast on the way home

We've also now mooted the possibility of a meal on the "way back" (as an alternative to "Snetterton Death Burgers" TM).

I don't think he envisioned us freezing our assets off in bleakest Norfolk for seven hours. At a fiver for entrance you're not losing out much by just dipping in. Nothing to stop you staying as long as you like if you want to, of course. [;)]

Thats why I just thought i'd mention it :)
7 hours is too long especially in November and i thought if the meal is afterwards i'd have given up and left before the best bit !

Mas, less of the negativity please[:D], we are only going for a couple of hours, do our bit for charity and then a little run and something to eat. Whats not to like?

Dunno what you're apologising for, it was a useful post to clarify what the plans are for anyone reading the thread. Now we are all sure.
