Without doubt our most important event of the year, so if you can't make anything else please try and add this one to your diary. We will be holding our regional show again at Witton this year and once again the theme is a Porsche picnic. Although this year we have taken on board your concerns of last year and tried to address them where possible.
This year in keeping with our Porsches in the park theme we have secured Gunthers Blackforest Memories, Echt Gute Bratwurst, the home of Proper Bratwurst & Schwabien Noodles! We will also have a pop up bar on the field this year, supplied by the Pipstop; a local award winning wine and beer merchant, to wash down those Bratwurst for all those passengers . For the drivers a tea & coffee cart serving hot refreshments throughout the day, along with all the usual things you have come to enjoy such as a display by our show sponsors Specialist Cars of Malton and Lloyds our local Porsche approved bodyshop who will also be bringing some examples of their recent work.
We will have a Spitfire simulator for you try your hand at, along with a raffle with some great prizes to be won. Any monies raised on the day will be donated to our chosen charity for R3, GNAAS (Great North Air Ambulance). I am open to further suggestions for attractions for the day.
Entries are now invited for our concours competition. We will have two classes on the day as usual, one for R3 members as well as a visitors class. All entries must be pre-registered supplying information regarding vehicle reg, type, mileage and colour and club membership number to R3@porscheclubgb.com.

Oh go on then, I'll do the concourse as well :). Should have something to make the judges happy with a new Porsche interior part that has been ordered. Watch this space!

Hi Greg,

I've just joined the club today, and I'm very impressed with the forum.

I'm pleased to see if I have not missed this event at Witton Castle My wife, Karen, and I would very much like to attend please.

I'd like to come to the Dunn Cow as well next week if that is still on?

Thanks,

David.

Yes, welcome to R3 David & Karen, look froward to seeing you at club night
Cheers
Dave & Karen!

NB: We have many Dave's - all numbered, I think I'm number 6![ Remember The Prisoner - "you are number 7"]

Thanks Dave No.6
Remember "The Prisoner" very well, in fact so much that my last "toy" was a Caterham 7, so I'll take that.
I was told by SWMBO that I needed a bigger more mature toy with a roof however.
