What a fantastic event Greg and Deb! Many thanks for the kind welcome that Karen and I were given as new members to R3. Look forward to seeing you all again.

Sorry in the delay in posting, got home last night and fell into a vat of wine. As I am not a great swimmer my only chance of survival was to drink it.[8D]
Thanks to everyone who came along and supported our regional show, judging by the comments it was a great success. We had a fantastic array of cars on the showfield with the icing on the cake being the 918 Spyder.
Special thanks to our show sponsor Specialist Cars of Malton. John's team worked non-stop and very kindly judged this years concours cars. With such a great standard set by all, it was very close in the final scores, congratulations to all our Regional winners and Visitors.
I would also like to thank Scotty and his team from Lloyds Bodyshop for giving up their day with a great display of examples of some of their previous work on members' cars showing why they are the region's Porsche approved bodyshop.
I think as a region, all in R3 can be very proud of what we managed to bring together, from members joining us on the showfield and adding to the spirit of the event, to the thankless task from key members who volunteered to give up their time to ensure others could have an enjoyable experience on the day. With your help and support the day ran like clockwork, from doing a stint on the carparks, raffle collecting, setting up and taking down once again, it was all very much a team effort and all this just wouldn't be possible without your dedication. Deb & I really appreciate all the hard work our volunteers put in yesterday from 8am to early evening.
I would also like to thank the Cornbury House team who once again pulled out all the stops to support our day by sending us lots of great items to promote the club to make it an all round better experience for all those who attended, not least Chris Sweeting who worked tirelessly all day but his efforts where well rewarded when Chriss Roberts kindly took him for a spin in the 918.
After speaking with the other stall owners they all passed comment how much they had enjoyed the show and are all eager to return next year already.
So watch out for next years date and for the amount raised on the day for GNAAS charity.
Thanks again,
Greg & Deb.

We loved every minute of the day at Witton Castle. It was well worth the journey and so good to meet up with friends old and new.
Congratulations to Greg and Deb and their tireless team of helpers for a brilliantly organised event. We were really impressed with the standard of cars in the Concours, and perhaps some of the entries should consider an entry at National level.
Our drive home to the "other side" was completed in two and a half hours as we came cross country and never touched a motorway. The only way to travel on a Sunday!
Count us in for next year.

Cheers Deb and Greg, it was a cracking day out as always. Our relations loved it and Wendy's sister is wondering if she could get in a Porsche after her back operation. They all commented on what an approachable bunch of friendly passionate people R3 are. Lots of great cars and plenty of craic. Superb chilli form Dave Urwin; had to have two bowls just to make sure :). Of course the icing on the cake for me was third in my first concours; well chuffed! Looks like I've been bitten by the bug and look forward to next years.

Roll on the WOTY.

Really great day once again. Thanks to Deb and Greg for organising a fab day. Good to meet up with friends from region 3 and visitors. It was a bonus on the day that I got a place in the concour's competition, the standard of the cars was amazing and all owners spent a lot of time on their cars to show them at their best. Well done to Paul and Mark of region 3, on their places in the concour's and to the visitors who exhibited. Looking forward to the WOTY.

Excellent day with R3, cracking event with lovely people and a privilege to be asked to present trophies to the Concours winners, definitely going again next year. All credit to Debs & Greg and all their volunteers & Sponsors!

Register Director

Thanks Albert for supporting our event, it was a massive R3 team effort to manage our regional show on the day, with lots of members doing their bit for the club and our region. With help, support and guidance from Cornbury House, I think together we made it a better all round experience for all that attended and really hope we can build on the things we have learned from this year.
The PCGB Gazebo looked amazing with the 918 out front and once again with Chris representing us on the day it made for a great area to sit and pass the time away with new, old and future members. Thank you again for stepping up and awarding the trophys as a director of PCGB and a friend of R3.

Great Pix Mark, marvellous memories of a super day, congrats on being awarded your 1st trophy for the Concours, better put up a big shelf for all those future CUPS!(Steve - same applies!)

Cheers

Cheers Dave, I'll have to put more miles on the car to get more points for the next time.
