My 3.2 Carrera Sport has its original 1988 Fuchs 16in wheel set up which is great but like the look of the wider wheel set up so often seen with these cars. I was was wondering what the best wheel/tyre combo is for a narrow body and whether changing will have any detrimental affect say on wheel bearings, ride, etc. Any thoughts please.

Hi.
What I did when I had my 3.2 Carrera was to put the rear wheels on the front and purchased two turbo Fuchs wheels for the rear.
Sorry can't remember tyre set was a few years ago.

Hi
If you look on our Porsche 911 tyres web page you will see that the 245/45R16 P7 are currently amazing value, and just right for the big 16" rear wheel. The set of 2 off 225/50R16 P7 (or 205/55R16 P7) and 2 off 245/45R16 P7 are amazing value.
just in time for Santa to buy you a fresh set of tyres.
