what did you do to your 944 today

Looks good, I hope you recover from the financial hit soon...........

My MOT is due next month, going to service it tomorrow and change my alternator belt which has seen better days then we should be all good.

Oil changed today, was 8k miles since last change, still looked almost new. Sticking to my Total Quartz Racing 10w/50, served me well.

New alternator belt done as well. MOT up next at some point before 11th September. Road trip planned 15th September, Scotland this time NC500 route.

Not today, but yesterday at Croft circuit in North Yorkshire:

A full day on track, then down to The Motorist near Leeds for a book launch event with my mate Rich and JayEmm, then 120 miles back to Newcastle.

I do like his videos, not technical enough for me though most of the time, I prefer watching someone talk through the innards of an engine rebuild or conversion.

Totally agree, he did have a turbo s that I believe he still owns. Not sure how he acquired it. Last video of his I seen he was talking about a guy that rammed his almost brand new BMW into a tree and nearly killed himself while JayEmm was filming, about 40mph as well, the auto box changed gear on a small bend on a slightly wet road. A wild accident considering the speed. Might have been a new 8 series, a 2 door anyway I think.

I've never understood why people will drive hours/miles, to lend him their cars to test. Credit where it's due, he does seem know what he's talking about. Unlike some of the rubbish posted by wet behind the ears bruvs, innit.
