[FONT=calibri"]It is with deep regret that I have to inform the members that Ruth Kisbee passed away yesterday. She was a stalwart of the Dorset region with her husband Robin for over 25 years and will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy goes to her family at this very sad time.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Very sad news but Ruth has now seen an end to the suffering that she had endured for so long.
Our thoughts are with Robin at this difficult time.

So very sad to hear the news of Ruth's passing, Robin called my home yesterday to pass the new to us. He is such a gentleman.

When I started the Dorset Region R26 in 1990 Robin and Ruth were there at the first meeting and hardly ever missed one thereafter. Both gave great Ann Marie and myself such wonderful support and so much enthusiasm.

I know that R26'ers will rally round and give Robin the support and encouragement he will need in the coming months.

My thoughts are with him and his family. Rest in peace Ruth.

Ruth was the very first person I met when I first joined the club and allayed my fears of an eliteistism were quickly put down .A very sad day

Well said Paul, one of my first memories of her was her recounting how much she was a fan of Acker Bilk, I didn't know what to talk about so mentioned my love of Jazz. She was just that sort of person, could talk to anyone and be there friend.
