ORIGINAL: 944 man ... or 'Rover 75 daily driver'? Stop it!
No. I'm not sure what the purpose of your post was except to be deliberately combative. It's not helping other owners to fix their car, nor is it sharing an experience with a 944 that other people might find interesting. If my signature and others like it offend you, just don't read them. There's simply no need for this type of post.

Had I been directing this post towards you, then it would clearly have had your name in the title. Put your toys back into your pram.

I am generally in agreement with Simon (944 Man), and Mr McN. It is good to know posters Porsche related experience but anything else is pretty much an irrelevance. I would perhaps give some credence to owned classic motors, as they demonstrate an aptitude to getting oil under the nails. Equally non Porsche racing cars. I had several Capri's 30 years ago, should I list them? We also have/had 4 different Land Rovers.....so what? I built an Orange Prestige from parts.....And?!!! I prefer Parker pens and my TAG Heuer is away having a new battery fitted. I typed this on a Nexus 7 but I also have an iPhone 4 and a Dell i7 laptop. My wife and son both have iPad Minis and we have a Vax vacuum cleaner, a Charles and a Henry.

A Henry vacuum cleaner... you've just sent this thread in a whole new direction... [:D] Mick

Pffft - a Henry is just a poor man's Dyson isn't it. You want a vacuum cleaner with heritage not one from some shared platform. Isn't the Henry the one with a motor from a VW van? :p

LOL :ROFLMAO: I first read your post, and got all grumpy, and was about to write a long post defending my decision to buy a Henry. [:D] I have actually been a little disappointed with the Charles as I don't think it sucks as well.......And why do they use special soft the plastic at the end of the hose so that it wears out if you don't put an attachment on it (probably answered my own question there).

But are you really in a hedge? Maybe you need to think about changing your signature to "quiet as a mouse . . . In my house"
