Temporary car insurance

Hi,
I'm looking to get 1 day temporary car insurance to enable me to collect a 991 GTS I am purchasing so that I can drive it home. I've tried a few recommended online sites (Veygo by Admiral, Tempcover and Go Shorty) but immediately I state the car to be insured they say they can't/won't provide a quote.

Anyone used / have recommendations for insurers that will provide temporary insurance for such a vehicle?

Many Thanks

On my policy with Admiral, I can add temporary cover - does your policy not offer the same?

Won't you also need cover once the car is home eg theft or damage cover?

- might be worth posting this in a more general section?

My daily-driver insurance company has in past let me add a temporary second car to deal with the overlap on buying/selling cars - worth a call to see if they can do that for you. From memory they didn't even charge me. I was allowed to have both cars for a max of a week. That was LV.

Thanks for the reply - I'm with Aviva, I'll give them a try.
Found the right car (hopefully!) at completely the wrong time. I just need to get it hope and then it will be laid up in the Garage for a couple of months due to other priorities

I've added a car for a temporary amount of time with Admiral

I could do it for a day/week/month.
