R16 is currently looking at a Sunday drive out to Lynmouth on the 30th of January - currently looking at interest before pressing the button.

Details of times and start point to be advised if we get a suitable show of hands.

Best regards

Let me know if this goes ahead, Paul. If so, I could try to get some of our locals to meet up with you for lunch/tea/part of the drive, if you wanted?

Hi All,
The Lynmouth drive out is going ahead on Sunday (30th). Depart Gordano Services just off the M5 south of Avonmouth at 09:30 for a scenic drive to Lynmouth (coffee stop at Dunster).

Good morning all,

Looking forward to a catch up with those doing the drive out tomorrow, weather not looking too bad, maybe a bit breezy.

Just a word of caution for anyone planning to use the A38, south, to join the M5 at Almonsbury for the hop to Gordano, there are temporary traffic lights on the bridge over the M4 for the bridge works. These have been causing chaos during the week, may not be an issue tomorrow morning, but maybe best avoided or allow an extra bit of time JIC.

Cheers.

Yes, it was a great day. Thanks for organising Paul, and thanks to Nigel for hosting us. Hope to see you all again soon.
Phil & Louise

Nigel & Phil, thank you for the comments, it was a really good drive out, however I can’t take credit for the organising, Dave Bastin (Blue 997 Cab) came up with the idea and route, all I did was shout about it [:)]

But the biggest thanks go to you Nigel and Liz for hosting us all for coffee and doughnuts, especially at such short notice, having not responded to your email from earlier in the week, apologies again for my poor admin [:(]

Best regards
