This is the chap who does them. Even uses Paypal! The stuff is very good. Just make sure you order the correct 944 ones without the airbag!

I went to a yacht chandlers and got heavy duty thread for mending sails. Apparently you can use denim thread as well as it's the heaviest duty thread available in normal sewing shops. Also at the chandlers I got a heavy duty needle. The important thing about the needle is that it is a curved needle.
It was pretty easy to do and I'm happy with the results. You will stab yourself with the needle multiple times though![

Might be worth having a chat with a good sadler. Its a country thing[8|]Has anyone got any experience of recovering a steering wheel? If so where did you get the cover and how good a result did you get. My steering wheel is blue and the stitching is a bit shabby but I want to keep it as I dont really like aftermarket wheels.
