Hi Paul, it feels good to be back behind the wheel of a '44 :). The car is white, and it was IIRC owned by a renowned figure in the 944 circles.
 
Sorry you can't make it Edd, next year!! But............. Keep an eye on the weather you might be able to make the re-scheduled date, an annual thing! [:D][:D][:D]
 
Sadly I have had a work thing come up, so will have to duck out. Hope the weather stays nice for you all. Whatever happens, I doubt it will rain more heavily than last year! There isn't enough water in the world...

Um, looks like I'm going to have to do a bit of a u-turn too. I'm, moving house the weekend after the meet so I'll be on box-filling duty for most of the weekend. This means that I'll have to back out of the meal, but I'll try to be there for a bit of tyre kicking. Thankfully Rutland is close enough to 'pop-over'. Andy, have you had the pay the deposit already? Email me if you have...

Just Spoke to Glenn from Porsche centre Leicester parts dept,he said he intends to pop along to Rutland to see the cars and say hi and introduce himself,if anyone has any parts questions bring them along and ask him[:)],top guy,very helpful and loves transaxle cars.

He can! Didn't know until I saw him last weekend that he used to work for VW so you never know! [:D] He mentioned that he may come to Rutland and Bedford - will be good to see him out from behind his counter[8D]
