Hi Darryl. Whatever car you're in (and let's hope it's a 944) the "London and points South" contingent will be meeting at South Mimms Services (A1/M25) to run up to Rutland in convoy.
 
Not sure if my car will be on the road or not by then - if it is will look to come along as a late entry and will just have to watch everyone else scoffing their food ! Missed last years meet as I had a puncture along the way so hoping that I will be able to make it this time.

For those wanting a post code for sat-nav purposes, the Harbour Bar Cafe advertises itself thus: Bull Brigg Lane Whitwell Harbour Rutland Water LE15 8BL The cafe opens at 10 and was very pleasant for coffee and light refreshments while sheltering from the torrential rain last year.

Excellent! I have to put a lot of bits back in to mine. I'm wondering how long I can leave the boot carpet out to see all the shiny new paint; I think about 100 miles and I'll be deaf from the gearbox noise! [&o]

Hi Mark, from an earlier post... Meet en-route at South Mimms & Peterbough Services Rutland car park 10 - 11 White Horse 12.30 for 1pm lunch And if the weather is ok a drive, even if only around the lake? or has anyone a suggestion for a drive? Just need to sort and confirm the drive [8D]
 
Around the lake is probably the best option for a drive, unless you want an uber long drive but I guess the pub will be beckoning? [8D]
