RUTLAND 2013

ORIGINAL: Angu1lla What time are people planning to meet at South Mimms?
I guess it doesn't have to be silly o'clock as we only have to get to Rutland for just before lunch?

The simple answer is "an hour before people decide to meet up at Peterborough Services on the A1" as we normally join with the rest of the gang there for a group run to Rutland and travel time between South Mimms and Peterborough is @ 1 hour. I don't think we've agreed "Peterborough Time" yet.

Done. I've figured out how I missed the Rutland thread - I don't seem to be getting any email notifications from PCGB anymore... I thought it had gone a bit quiet recently!!

Thinking about times... Shall we do the same as last year, seemed to work ok? Leave South Mimms by 8.45 Leave Peterbough Services by 10.00 Arrive Rutland 10.45 ish

hmmm... now that i think about it, after a session of cold weather tire kicking, I'll probably be up for joining in for the meal as well. What do i need to do?

Boo! It looks like my 944 will not be available for Rutland. I may have to attend in my Golf!

It seems they're a little more painstaking then I estimated. Probably not a bad thing, apart from inconveniencing me over Rutland. [:)]

We will see you with another Geman model then! At least the 44 will be attended to properly and not rushed that can only be good

Nowt wrong with a Golf, although a 944 would be preferable for a 944 meet [:)] As long as it sorted to your satisfaction that's all that matters

Indeed, it is not the way I'd have preferred to turn up at Rutland but I am not going to miss out and if an alternate mode of transport is necessary then so be it!

All being well, I may just come up for this for some tyre kicking. It would be a bit rude not to after a short break from 944 ownership ;).
